MEET AUSTIN

I’m Austin Norwood, an Emmy Award-winning video editor and storyteller based in Phoenix, Arizona. I grew up in Chicago, Illinois, editing videos for YouTube in middle school before I knew it would become my career. What started as a hobby quickly became an obsession with storytelling and the ability of video to make people feel something.

While earning my bachelor’s degree in Digital Media with a minor in Advertising at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I turned that childhood obsession into an education—and eventually, a career. Today, I create eye-catching content across sports, entertainment, healthcare, and corporate storytelling, working with organizations and brands including the NBA, Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Roche, GQ, and Boston Scientific.

I work fast, I work clean, and I understand how to create premium content without losing sight of the deadline. Whether it’s a campaign, a brand story, a social-first piece, or a major sports moment, I approach every project with the same goal: make something people remember.

Today, I lead post-production while continuing to edit, develop creative, and turn ambitious ideas into finished work.
